바람의 길이를 본 적이 있나요?

바람은 머무르지 않습니다. 언제나 스쳐 지나가고, 붙잡을 수 없습니다. 

들판의 풀들이 한 방향으로 흔들리는 순간 바람을 느끼게 됩니다. 

보이지 않던 결이 드러나고 하나의 장면이 마음에 남습니다.

우리는 살아가며 많은 시간을 지나칩니다. 

현재의 순간은 더 나은 내일을 위해 흘려보내곤 합니다. 

그렇게 지금 이 순간을 바라보기보다, 늘 다른 시간 속에 마음을 두고 살아갑니다.

그러나 바람 앞의 들판은 과거나 미래에 속하지 않습니다.

이유를 설명하려 하지도 않습니다. 

그저 지금 이 순간 스쳐 가는 바람을 따라 흔들리고, 그 흐름 안에 조용히 머물러 있습니다. 

의미를 말하지 않아도 그 흔들림은 하나의 곡선이 되고, 하나의 풍경이 됩니다.

권두현 작가의 작업 앞에 서 있으면 우리는 보이지 않는 어떤 흐름을 마주 보게 됩니다. 

캔버스 위에 겹겹이 쌓인 시간과 반복된 흔적들 사이로 설명할 수 없는 감각들이 천천히 지나갑니다. 

그리고 어느 순간, 우리는 작품을 바라보는 것을 넘어 그 안에 잠시 머물고 있음을 느끼게 됩니다.

이번 《길이》 전은 무심히 지나치던 감각들을 다시 바라보게 합니다. 

잠시 멈춰 서서 지금 내 두 발이 어디에 닿아 있는지, 또 내 눈은 무엇을 바라보고 있는지 

조용히 들여다볼 수 있는 시간이 되었으면 합니다. 

보이지 않지만, 분명히 지나가고 있는 것들, 

그리고 지금 여기 존재하는 자신의 모습을 마주하게 되길 바랍니다.

Have you ever seen the length of the wind?

The wind never stays. It is always passing by, impossible to hold.

We become aware of it when the grass in a field sways in one direction.

A pattern that was once invisible comes into view, leaving a single scene in our minds.

As we move through life, we let many moments pass us by.

We often give up the present in the hope of a better tomorrow.

Instead of looking at the moment before us,

we live with our minds fixed somewhere else in time.

Yet a field moving in the wind belongs neither to the past nor to the future.

It does not try to explain itself.

It simply sways with the wind passing through the present moment

and quietly remains within its flow.

Even without offering meaning, its movement becomes a curve and, eventually, a landscape.

Standing before the work of Kwon Doohyun, we encounter an invisible current.

Between the layers of time built upon the canvas and the traces of repeated gestures,

sensations that cannot be put into words slowly pass through.

At some point, we realize that we are no longer simply looking at the work,

but have begun to dwell within it, if only for a moment.

The exhibition 《Length》 invites us to look again at the sensations we so often overlook.

May this exhibition offer a moment to pause and quietly notice where

your feet are standing and what your eyes are looking toward.

May you encounter the things that remain unseen yet

are undoubtedly passing by and see yourself as you are, here and now.
